Pláticas – A Support Space
Pláticas is a group therapy space hosted by CAPS for students to discuss common stressors, receive support and connect with each other over shared experiences. Discussion topics can include utilizing support within the Latinx community, navigating barriers in higher education, exploring identities, and more.
While this space welcomes Spanish/Spanglish speakers, it is not exclusive to only Spanish speakers. This group will begin March 13th and is held every other Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Price Center. To connect to this group, students can call CAPS at 704-687-0311 or stop by the center in person during our open access hours (Monday through Thursday, 1:30-4:00 PM). If you or students have questions about this space, please feel free to connect with me or have students reach out to CAPS at 704-687-0311.
